Smoothie For Glowing Skin

You are what you eat is what they say right? Well if that’s the case pour me up a tall glass of this smoothie for glowing skin. Packed with antioxidants, healthy fats and enzymes to hydrate your skin and prevent aging.

The Recipe

1/2 Cup Frozen Papaya

Handful Spinach

1/4 Cucumber

Handful Mint

2 Cups Coconut Water

1/4 Avocado

1 Cup Frozen Berries

The Benefits

Papaya: Papaya helps to remove dead skin cells and inactive proteins, which rejuvenates the skin.

Spinach: Spinach contains Vitamins A, C, and K—which work together to help your skin heal from scars or sun damage, and fortify its natural barrier.

Cucumber: Cucumber fights to reduce inflamed or irritated skin, and improves hydration due to its high water content. The peel itself contains silica, which firms up the skin and helps reverse the signs of aging.

Mint: Not only does mint help fight acne but it works as a mild astringent agent that helps to tone your skin naturally. It clears dead skin cells, and removes dirt from the pores.

Coconut Water: Coconut water is best known for its incredible hydrating qualities but it also contains Vitamin C, vitamin B, vitamin K, zinc, iodine, selenium, manganese, and more. These ingredients will nourish you from the inside out, leaving your skin glowing.

Avocado: Avocados are filled with natural oils that moisturize your skin. By making sure your skin is moisturized, you can prevent blemishes, acne, and wrinkles.
